Return to Worship series
This example is described on pages 18-21 of the accompanying Grove booklet.
The 40-line version of St Patrick's Breastplate (see page 20):
I Journey this day
In the virtue of love,
In the obedience of angels,
In the hope of resurrection
In prayers of patriarchs,
In predictions of prophets,
In preaching of apostles,
In faith of confessors.
I Journey under
The power of heaven,
The light of the sun,
The brightness of the moon,
The splendor of fire,
The flashing of lightning,
The swiftness of wind,
The depth of sea,
The stability of earth,
The density of rocks.
I Journey onwards with
God's power to guide me,
God's might to uphold me,
God's wisdom to teach me,
God's eye to watch over me,
God's ear to hear me,
God's word to give me speech,
God's hand to guide me,
God's way to lie before me,
God's shield to shelter me,
God's host to secure me,
I journey onwards
Christ with me, Christ before me,
Christ behind me, Christ within me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ at my right, Christ at my left,
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks to me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
I Journey onwards
I journey this day
The Plan (courtesy of Paul Breckell):

'Throne'
on red carpet, draped with velvet, fairy lights and lots of art/craft materials,
especially shiny, sparkly things, and tools.
Use materials in any way you
like to decorate the throne for the King of Kings. Offer your work and your
worship to him, and pray that his kingdom will come in your life, your church
and your community.

A labyrinth design (no branches, but with separate entrance and exit) was marked on large tarpaulin. The overall shape was a Mercian cross. Simple materials and techniques were used to construct five stations based on the CMS priorities for mission where the name of Jesus is rarely heard.
