Trevor Cooling is Director of the National Institute for Christian Education Research at Canterbury Christ Church University, and works with the ‘Transforming Lives’ Project, an interdenominational initiative that promotes teaching as a Christian vocation. He has been active in education for over 30 years as a teacher, a head of RE, a chief executive of a Christian education charity, a university lecturer and a diocesan schools adviser. He has a PhD in Religious Education, though his first degree is in biology.
