Revd Philip Seddon (Co-convener of the Grove Spirituality Group)
Philip was a curate in Manchester, a lecturer in Biblical Studies in Umuahia, Nigeria, and St John's College, Nottingham, and then chaplain at Magdalene College, Cambridge, before returning to lecturing in Biblical Studies in the Selly Oak Colleges, and now at the University of Birmingham. One of the founding members of the Grove Spirituality Group, he has always been fascinated by the relationship between the Scriptural text and the Spiritual life. He is increasingly married to Debbie and they have three growing-up children.
Revd Dr Roland Riem (Co-convener of the Grove Spirituality Group)
Roly has belonged to the spirituality group since 1993 and has written a couple of books in the series. He has responsibility for ministerial formation on the Southern Theological Education and Training Scheme (STETS). His current research interest is the relationship between spirituality and pastoral care.
